The first thing you notice right away when you look at the Mandelbrot Set is that there is a radiating part on the outside that seems to be pointing away from the Mandelbrot Set or the black part.
These are the points I talked about earlier that reach escape velocity after a pre-determined number of iterations through the function z = z2 + c.
The points on the INSIDE are the points that don’t escape and I will be talking about these points shortly.
For these OUTSIDE points, I decided to follow the trajectory of these points through the iteration process to try and determine what is happening and where they are going.
